Ad Effectum

Ad Effectum is the work of guitarist, bassist, and producer Alexander Stillion and vocalist Paul Lattimer. They met at a Bible Study through ChristCore Brethren Church and connected quickly. They spent a summer working on music together before Alex tragically was taken away in a motorcycle accident. He is dearly missed and left an eternal imprint on our church. He leaves behind a beautiful family.

Alex was so excited to mix his faith in Jesus with metal music. He loved the likes of Demon Hunter, Red, and August Burns Red. Alex was also an avid PC gamer when he wasn’t writing music, but not without first sipping some Mountain Dew. Paul would’ve never taken his interest in music seriously if Alex hadn’t given him the chance to experiment with his voice. The two worked together perfectly because Paul knew very little about guitars and drums, but could fill the vocal gap where Alex usually struggled to finish his songs. Alex recorded the music for Ad Effectum and was so proud of his work. Every week that he came to Bible study, he whipped out his Bluetooth speaker to share the new mix! I’m excited to hear what he’s cooking up in heaven.

Post Quam

Post Quam is the solo project from vocalist Paul Lattimer, one of the founders and lead pastor of ChristCore Brethren Church. Inspired by Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Uzi Vert, Juice WRLD, Whitechapel, Carnifex, Oceano, For Today, and Sleeping Giant to name a few, Post Quam aims to bring raw experience and faith to the trap metal genre. The first single, “Inner Death,” released on January 25, 2021, and tells of a moment where the vocalist felt dead inside following a rough breakup. Mysteriously, coming to that point of brokenness is what led him to open His heart to Jesus Christ.
